I have always liked these Lisle socket trays. This black version replaced the bright green version I purchased in the past. Still USA made and great! I think the magnets may be a tad weaker than my older version but that is fine as they were a bit too hard to remove from a metal tool cabinet. Red versions are still available but I miss being able to buy the green ones. I had all my metric sockets in green trays and was trying to match them.

If you like Snap-On but not the price......buy this. You will be happy. I have many Snap-On tools, etcand they are super, but this is good quality.

My 17 y/o old son managed to break my previous holder, which I had attached to the side of my toolbox for over twenty years. This one appears to be built the same if not heavier.

I use this to hold my impact sockets and am happy with it. I use it in the drawer so I can't comment on how well it holds to the side of a tool box, but the base is heavy/solid and the magnets are strong. Would recommend.

I got these to replace the traditional socket holders. The do a good job, really easy to pull a socket and put them back in place. They hold the sockets good enough but if you drop one on the floor it you get an explosion of sockets flying in all directions. Magnets can only thank so much! So, don't drop it!

I have a set of impact sockets from Harbor Freight that I use in my vehicles. The packaging they come in works ok, but it is a hassle to quickly grab different sizes. I tried a Craftsman holder that held the sockets by the 1/2 drive, but they would always be falling over, and popping out. I tried this holder, and it works perfectly. It holds all my sockets firmly, and keeps them all easily in reach. It works on either standard length or deep well sockets, and keeps all my ones together. This is an improvement over what I had, and keep my drawers organized. For what I need, this works perfectly.

This has good magnet strength and is very each to use. With some of the square clip kind of socket holders, it's hard to remove the socket for use. With this one, it's very easy to add or remove a socket quickly for use.

Red version of this product is perfect, however on this particular product, the magnet was completely devoid of all attraction, and didn't hold any of my sockets, which all were held fine in the red version.

I have both the 1/4 version and the 3/8 version. - I bought the 1/2 version but had to send them backWorks ok, the 3/8 version will hold impact or chrome 7mm to 21 but let's be honest who has anything bigger then 19mm or smaller then 9mm in 3/8The 1/4 version also has more slots then you actually need - wasting spaceBoth the 3/8 and 1/4 versions do hold the sockets well and work well in shallow drawersUnfortunately the 1/2 version does not hold 10mm to 24mm. (standard sizes for 1/2 sets). The 1/2 set does not have the magnet to hold it in the drawer - It instead has feet. the feet tend to slide even with a good drawer liner.Even though the 3/8 one would in theory would work for 1/2 sockets the channels are not large enough for 1/2 impact sockets at least.They need to make the 1/4 and 3/8 with with 24 slots to save drawer spaceThey need to make a half inch version with 30 slots

Only improvement would be numbers to quickly know where sockets go. Otherwise these work well

Holds the sockets really well and remains sturdy on the side of the workbench. I had old Snap-On ones but did not want to pay that kind of money. I ended up buying these thinking it would be a good test run to see how well other brands do. It works just as well as the Snap-On ones that I used to have. Absolutely recommend!
