The standard folding steps on my camper were just too “weak”. I didn’t feel secure going in and out. I ordered these not really liking how expensive they are. My husband installed them with no problem. I really like them. They are very solid with nice wide steps. They look great so I ordered another set for the other side. I feel safe going in and out with how sturdy they are. They are easy to use as well.

These steps are only 20” wide. Nowhere in the advertisement was the with mentioned. The last picture is another set on a different camper and they are 24” wide which is what I thought I was buying. Nowhere was I given the option to pick the wider steps. Now I’m stuck with these steps.

Decide carefully before choose this style. Problems we encountered: 1) Door must be ALL the way open before you can put stairs up or down. Not even room for awning rails. 2) If you have a carport with sidewalls or even just posts, you'll need enough space to accommodate the full length of the stairs to lower or raise them. 3) When you raise them any dirt on them falls directly into the coach. 4) You can't sweep dirt out of the door because the thick attachment bracket is screwed into the floor inside the door.
