It works, but all the components are cheap. The hose ends are crimped, and the reel itself is all thin, flimsy sheet metal. Mine came with one of the two sides bent. No leaks though.

Working well so far but the quality of the rubber hose isn't so good but as soon as it wears I'll replace it with a Goodyear hose .

I'm a Mechanic, I bought this same reel 8 years ago from our Snap -On jobber. I've used it extensively and have actually replaced the hose on it once. I bought one for my garage at home. Same model as this one. I myself am surprised how well they have held up. So if your looking to purchase, this is what you want.

Latch pawl was broken when the reel arrived. No damage to packaging. Easier and cheaper to buy a replacement part than send the whole thing back for replacement. The reel and hose seem well built otherwise.

This is a big, heavy, industrial-grade air hose reel that's well made, with quality fittings. It's got some "kick" to it too when returning the hose on the reel. Should last me a lifetime.
