Works a little slowly if oil is cold. Just warm up engine first and works well. Speed of flow is determined by size of the dipstick tube (obviously). Beats crawling under the car and removing the drain plug and making a mess under the car, since there is usually a crossmember or something that impedes the oil from draining directly into the pan.
