First time using a shampoo bar, so didnt really know what to expect. I have Seborrhoeic dermatitis, so my scalp is always and I mean ALWAYS itchy after using any products on my scalp. Id read that the jojoba and peppermint one, and the tea tree and hemp oil one work best for itchy scalps. But I was a bit leery to use either of those, since anything that leaves my scalp feeling tingly usually makes mine itch and sore even worse. So I wanted to try out the herbal one kind of as a test run to see if it made my scalp worse or about the same, before trying those specifically. Im a hairstylist, so of course, for years I kept using professional grade products. None of them have touched my scalp. Dermatologist professional scripts actually aggravated it worse. Head and shoulders has been the only thing that semi worked, tsal semi worked but I was still left feeling itchy.Using the herbal shampoo bar once and I already see a HUGE improvement. Instead of having random spots all over my scalp that are itchy and hurting, I have one tiny spot that has been itching randomly every few hours. I know to some that may seem like its not helping, but for me- thats the best its been in literally 6 years. I can tell within 24 hours if something will aggravate my scalp or make it better, by pain and itchy sensation. 24 hours later, and its not sore or itching all over. Just one tiny spot every few hours. I didnt realize they had three packs of shampoo bars, and thats cheaper than buying them individually. So Ive ordered the pack with original, tea tree, and jojoba. I love the idea of the argan oil one, but from reviews Ive read- that one builds up a layer on the scalp and hair over time. If this one worked this well for me, cant wait to see what the others that are specifically for itchy scalps does to help.As for if it lathers or not, yes. As long as thoroughly wetting hair first, then rubbing the bar on your hair by the scalp, it suds up great. Its a learning curve to how much, but I rinsed it well, then used diluted apple cider vinegar on it for 10 seconds then rinsed it out, since I have hard water and my hair felt kinda weird after shampooing. I think Id used too much shampoo. Great products, cant wait to try the others
