These are such great quality! They are a good weight too - they won't be crushed if a child or adult sits on them and they aren't so heavy that they'll dent the floors or walls if thrown. They do have a slight rubbery texture to them, which collects dog hair easily, but quick run water of it and the hair falls off.The bushel basket and blue basket are very sturdy too. Just to note, all the pieces do not fit into the blue basket. You'll need to fill up both the bushel basket and blue basket to store the pieces (or find another storage solution). The blue basket full of food fits in the bottom portion of our Ikea play kitchen (without removing a shelf). The foods are larger than the super cheap Kid Kraft pretend foods set, but you can still fit 2-4 pieces of pretend food into the KidKraft metal pan set.The 32 pieces were more than plenty for my 18 month old, so I ended up filling up the bushel basket with food and giving it to Grandma daycare. She loves the quality too! My parents have pretend plastic food from when I was growing up that have lasted 25 years of playing in the dirt sunlight. These are even better quality than those! I can see these lasting for decades to come.Overall, worth the money! Such a great set of pretend food!

I like that all food groups are represented and that this comes with the two baskets - lots of possibilities for learning and play! These aren't made of flimsy plastic like some other play food, and so far they've stood up great to a rough preschooler and a teething baby.My daughter likes making sandwiches and stirring the ingredients in her toy pots and pans.

These are so fun and will definitely last longer than the cheaper kinds of play food. Everything's a good size so I don't worry about choking hazards. Only flaw is that the yogurt cup paint has been chipping. Specifically the 'yogurt' part. Other than that, great play food set.

Received as gift. It's my 2 yr old boys favorite! Dense plastic with an almost-rubber bend. Vivid 2- tone colors. Son loves to build sandwiches, carry around in baskets with cousin, put in pot and fridge.Little pricey but worth it. 30 cheaper here than in store.

My daughter got this set as a gift when she was 2. She is 10 now and still doesn't want to part with it :). It has stood the test of time...each piece as good as new. She has played with it extensively through the years, cooking and serving us parents , pretend playing with her friends. What I love is that each piece is very realistic, hardy, and comes with baskets to store. The best gift for a little girl.

I purchased the Learning Resources Sprouts Deluxe Market 32 Piece Set for a 2 year old and she loves it. Perfect size for her little hands and all the food pieces are realistic looking. I like that none of the food pieces come apart. It's also great that none of the items seem too small so I feel comfortable with her playing with them. I highly recommend this product. The only thing I found confusing was the product page lists three different ages that this product is recommended for : 18 months, 3 yrs, and ages 2. I wish the age recommendations were consistent on the product page.
