This was a direct replacement for the circulation pump it replaced. All fittings and terminals were the same. Seems to work exactly the same as the old one. Now we will see how long it lasts. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the terminals had to be re-crimped.

I bought one of these 5 years ago and it was kind of loud but the price was good compared to other options. It failed 5 years later. When I took it apart to inspect it it I found it had wobbled itself against the inside wall of the pump chamber. It was off balance! I took a chance on a new one because the reviews were good and the price was still better than other options. This new one is perfectly balanced and so quiet! Also water volume movement is noticeably improved. I suspect this one will last much longer than 5 years.

OEM circ pump was tripping the breaker, replaced it with this unit and it's working great so far. I also screwed the new motor/pump onto the original housing, and it fit fine.
