FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS
The LINDY Fiber Optic DVI-D Dual Link Extender is the most high performance solution on the market for sending DVI-D Dual Link signals, up to 1600p, un-compressed over incredible distances. Using standard LC quad (x1) or duplex (x2) multi-mode (50/125µ) fiber optic cables to make the long distance connection, the DVI-D Extender provides full support for computer DVI-D Dual Link and HDTV DVI-D signals, analog audio and RS-232.
The extender system comprises two modules, a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected to both the DVI-D source and display using standard DVI-D cables of up to 5m. The modules are then connected together using a single LC quad or two LC 50/125µm duplex multimode cables of up to 500m in length (fiber optic cable is not included).
