Mission: The mission of the LIFE Village is to meet the ongoing residential and community living needs of adults with autism and related disorders.
Results: We opened our first LIFE House and LIFE House program in August 2020.We are organizing efforts to open LIFE House II and LIFE House III in 2021.
Target demographics: provide housing for adults with intellectual disabilities
Direct beneficiaries per year: raise awareness of our project and this year we opened our first LIFE House.
Geographic areas served: Boone, NC
Programs: LIFE House which are leased houses which in turn are provided to residents at a reduced rate. Professional support services are provided as a part of the LIFE House program.
