Let me start off saying I'm 60 yrs old. I've tried several different mufflers on my 2012 Ram 5.7 hemi looking for one that would eliminate most of the drone when the MDS kicks in. I've done several reviews on different mufflers. My first was the Carven...way too loud for me, mega-drone. The next was a Totalflow...little better but still not what I wanted. Then I tried a Magnaflow...still not there. The common denominator here is they are all short, small body mufflers. Then I stumbled across KN. Who knew they made mufflers. If you're looking for loud, this is not for you. What amazed me is it's still a full flow muffler. It's as big as your stock muffler, but no where near the weight. I think the large capacity of the muffler housing is what is absorbing most all the sound waves that was causing the drone. Don't get me wrong, when you accelerate, you can definitely hear the exhaust note. Then it levels out and suits my taste in the way of what I was looking for. As always, harder to get the old one off, but the new one goes on easy. Make sure you torque the exhaust bolts to the correct specs and line up your tail pipes.

It was a very easy install. There is definitely a better sound on acceleration coming from underneath the hood. Fuel mileage seems to have improved 1.6 better on MPG according to an actual mileage count (not what the dash says). This bolt on along with a Superchip Flashpaq F5 has really woke the 5.7L Hemi Ram up. Very satisfied.

Installation was straightforward. Pay attention to the instructions because of your truck style. The kit comes with new and old RAM body. I did noticed of gains in thrust and torque. Engine seems to be much cooler. I have other mods, if you don't know your truck you won't be able to tell the difference. The only thing I didn't like was the support of the air filter holster with 2 points secure but nothing for the bottom. It vibrats, noticeable when hitting bumps. I have to Macguyver for it.

Couldn't come up with a metal 90 degree hose barb when the kit is almost $500?? Everything was going great on the install until the hose barb 90 snapped off as I was hand tightening. Now to find a replacement last moment is almost impossible. Definitely not happy at the moment.

Got on my doorstep this morning !!! Took about 90 mins to install as they say. Woke this hemi right up first performance mod I have done to new truck about 3000 miles on her Definate noticable performance in pick up and sound !!! Truck feels like its 1000 lbs lighter of the line Highway acceleration is also boosted. Sounds great too still have factory exhaust but plan to put Carven proggressive on next week Definately not dissapointed !!!

Truck sounds better under the hood, and the from the exhaust. Throttle response is livelier making it more enjoyable to drive. Can't wait to feel it when pushing snow and towing.

I ordered this for my 2012 Ram 1500. It fit great and works better than expected. The Oxygen temp sensor is positioned awkwardly, but it works.

I put this in my 2018 ram 1500 hemi and what a difference in makes. I had the flowmaster 40 series on prior to install which already sounded good with the stock intake. The sound from this CAI at initial throttle stomp is a huge upgrade. Throttle response is pretty noticeable and the vacuum sound is very subtle but still noticeable. If you install this and get BETTER gas mileage then you're doing it wrong. Sounds too good to just put around.Install was rather easy. I am nowhere near a motor head and managed start to finish in a little over an hour. Make sure you use the crank case hose that is provided in the box and replace it with the stock. The directions provided don't mention that the stock crank case hose does come remotely close to the intake.All in all this is money we'll spent at just over $300 and I'm happy I made this purchase.

Amazing sound and noticed added pull with better throttle response. No doubt it opens the truck up more and will help when pulling the camper. Not sure about mileage yet, haven't been able to keep my foot out of throttle with the new turbine sound!Great product and looks cool too
