These are absolutely fantastic pliers. I just used them on several 3M Scotchlok connectors while installing a couple trailer brake controllers on my Subaru Foresters and they work great. Some complain about the spring; I don't mind it at all. From what I can see, Jonard is more than likely the OEM supplier for 3M; the 3M version looks completely identical. Also, while I'm typically a Klein Tools fan-boy, these pliers are going for under $6 per pair vs. about $25 for the Klein Version. These pliers are an extreme bargain! If you're looking for Scotchlok crimping pliers, don't hesitate. Buy these and don't look back. On a side note; Jonard's fuse pulling pliers as well as their IC pullers are fantastic!

I use this for crimping Scotchlok 905 electrical connectors. I used it for the first time today, and having these pliers made the job effortless and stress-free. The pliers produce an even clamping force across the insulation displacement connectors I used. I tested its work by performing a continuity test across both ends of the bus wire as well as on the feeder. Trouble free, no fuss, no muss. I'd recommend this product, as it is solidly built with no 34;play34; in the motion of the pliers whatsoever. I think it compares well against the twice-as-expensive Klein version that I somehow had misplaced elsewhere months ago! =) A great value for half the money of the Klein. Yup. I recommend this Jonard Connector Crimping Plier with no reservations nor hesitation. Just get it!
