Mission: ITSAN raises awareness of Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome and supports all affected individuals.
Results: ITSAN helps bring patients and doctors together by providing education and patient perspective on this preventable outcome. Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome is an iatrogenic condition, related to tachyphylaxis, that can occur with escalation of topical steroid therapy. We also are participating in research and publishing using surveys of the TSW and eczema communities to learn more about this debilitation condition.
