Mission: MissionIHE educates people to create a world in which all humans, animals, and nature can thrive. StrategyTo achieve our mission, we offer:● Online Masters’ and Doctoral Programs in Humane Education delivered in partnership with Antioch University and designed to prepare teachers and changemakers to educate about the interconnected issues of social justice, environmental sustainability, and animal protection through a Solutionary Framework. ● Humane Education Resources and Training that provide opportunities for learning, professional development, free educational materials, and methodologies for integrating our Solutionary Framework into schools and communities and advancing the growing solutionary movement. ● High Impact Outreach through keynote addresses, books, workshops, TEDx talks, and consultation.
Results: • Our Solutionary Framework is being integrated into classrooms and school districts across the U. S. , Canada, and beyond. The San Mateo County Office of Education in CA is using our approach throughout their county that serves 113,000 students in 23 school districts. They are now extending their reach into surrounding counties and offer an annual Solutionary Fair where students share their work and solutions to problems in their communities and world. • Oceanside School District, NY is integrating our solutionary approach into their entire K-12 Social Studies curriculum. • The students and graduates in our Masters’ and Doctoral programs with Antioch University are leading the humane education and solutionary movements in schools; by creating nonprofits and educational programs; through the arts; as entrepreneurs and bestselling authors; and much more.
Target demographics: In addition to offering graduate programs, we work primarily with teachers and school administrators, as well as changemakers who wish to make a difference through education and a solutionary approach to problems.

Programs: • Graduate Programs with Antioch University (M. Ed. , M. A. Ed. D. , and Graduate Certificate) linking human rights, environmental sustainability, and animal protection • Solutionary Micro-credential Program: a 30-hour, self-paced online program to prepare teachers to educate their students to be solutionaries who are motivated and able to solve real-world problems. • Free resources, including our “Solutionary Guidebook” for teachers, lesson plans, and curricular units. • Workshops and presentations for schools and communities
