Mission: The Institute for Justice is a nonprofit, public interest law firm founded in 1991.Our mission is to end widespread abuses of government power and secure the constitutional rights that allow all Americans to pursue their dreams.

Programs: The Institute for Justice combines cutting-edge litigation, sophisticated media relations, strategic research, boots-on-the-ground advocacy, and more to fight on behalf of individuals who are denied their constitutional rights. IJ has litigated more than 300 cases, including 10 cases before the Supreme Court, and represented more than 1,000 people in need—all at no cost to them.
