Good quality for what it is. Easy to install. Used to install an Eaton brand timer in bathroom. Switch box was too small forth the fancy switch.

Good finish piece for extending a shallow box. I installed a programable timer switch. I needed extra space. This worked well for the application and gave the install a finished look.

I used his box extender to extend a lightswitch box on an older house; the original configuration was too small for a dimmer lightswitch for LEDs, although it was fine for a standard dimmer switch, i.e., LED dimmer switches are a bit deeper and all the wired connections don't fit in the standard lightswitch box but do when the extender is added.

Product is great, but, be careful as to the thickness of the adaptor. Really thought it called out 3/8 but received 1/2. Still works fine, just sticks out more than needed. Unique location doesn't allow for much clearance, it's so close that if the switch is placed at the half way between on and off the door will hit it. And, yes, I know, that would have to be done on purpose, but kids will be kids....

I installed this on a wall where we put up bamboo fiber abstract wall panels that are very thick and detailed. This extender worked perfectly, and after caulking around the cut out for the wall panel, it looks like it was custom made for the wall. Highly recommended for those installing high-relief molded wallpaper or panels.

Happy to find this solution to my problem of trying to fit new GCFI Outlets into a wall made of 2 x1 board frame covered by paneling with shallow electrical outlet boxes.The Arlington Non-Metallic Box 1-Gang Extenders allowed me to perfectly fit the larger GCFI outlets into the existing electric box. This was for a basement storage room where the alternative would be to tear down the walls and replace with standard 2x4 stud framing and drywall which we didn't want to do in a room only used for storage. Great product for this need. Recommended.
