Mission: The mission of the Hunter Memorial Foundation is to be of service to others through public art and community service.

Results: HMF currently has four major project divisions. Each of these initiatives began as short projects that developed into long-term projects after receiving enormously positive responses from the community. >Emergency Community ResponseSince 2020, the Hunter Memorial Foundation has been involved in multiple emergency outreach projects. Responding to both local and national emergencies, these initiatives have helped to serve and unite the community through hands-on service and giving. >The Art of Being KindWe are inspired by art, and we believe in its amazing power to connect people by displaying common experiences, values, beliefs, and emotions. As a result of our passion, the Hunter Memorial Foundation has created art-related initiatives in addition to the Mural project to reach the community through art. >General Community ServiceHMF has been working in conjunction with The Forgotten Child Fund, the Chattanooga Police Department, the Chattanooga Furniture Bank (Goodwill Industries), Representative Danny Ayala, Councilman Anthony Byrd, Mayor Burke’s Homeless Task Force, and Representative Stacy Kehoe since December 2020 to provide free coats to those in the Chattanooga community. >Community Mural ProjectThe heart of our organization, the Hunter Memorial Mural will serve as a memorialization of the lives of Pastor W. C. and Claudine Hunter. It will celebrate their decades of kindness and philanthropy and inspire future generations to follow in their path of service.
