I only gave this four stars on value because some may think it's too expensive. I was willing to go the few extra dollars because I wanted something that WASN'T made in China. I had one of those previously, and while it lasted for three years and worked OK, it was...'meh'. This product is made in Mexico for an American firm with a good rep and a long history. It's comfortable to wear, easy to adjust, remains secure when worn, and appears well made. All reasons I'd buy it again.

The organic vapor cartridges filter out VOCs from paints, stains, solvents, etc. and the white N95 pre-filter pads do a good job extending the life of the cartridges and filtering out airborne nastiness. The straps do a good job keeping the mask in place and the price is good. Definitely something good to have on hand.To clean, I'd recommend unscrewing the cartridges and wiping it down with 70 ethyl alcohol using a clean rag before letting it air dry. I'd also recommend purchasing and extra pair of organic vapor filtering cartridges and N95 pre-filter pads if possible. I don't know how long the organic vapor filtering cartridges are supposed to last, but I've gone a couple of months of regular use without issue.

I never used one before but figured it would be a real pain. I used it on a 100-degree summer day while spraying fruit trees. Surprisingly, it didn't bother me at all.

Seems to work well. Seems well-made. Smells like rubber though. Not a pleasant wearing experience. I guess I will take that over breathing in paint fumes

I was happy with the quality and function. I used this filter when I painted the house. I had no discomfort from the sanding debris or from painting fumes. low voc paint. the fit strap was easy to adjust even while wearing gloves.

I am a respiratory therapist. In the hospital I am working with patients in isolation for COVID-19. The cookie-cutter one size fits all N95 masks hurt my nose and honestly don't seal on me very well. So I bought this respirator hoping for the best. It is comfortable, very adjustable, lite weight, and I wear it almost the entire twelve hour shift. It seals great without hurting me. I recommend it to anyone!

I'm using this as an alternative to the N95 in the hospital/covid setting. I am a nurse, got this model cleared through our RT department. I haven't been able to smell through this, can easily talk but extended wear, the sweat on my faces causes it to shift a little.
