I was getting frustrated trying to convert my finches from an all seed diet to pellets (another brand) and fresh chop. I saw this brand being used by fellow bird parents so I decided to give it a shot. Within a week my Gouldian Finches were completely converted to pellets. They love this stuff!!! I also recently welcomed a Rosey Bourke Parakeet into the flock and he immediately took to the pellets. I highly recommend this brand and so do my birds.

I was using Dr. Harveys bird seed and still am just adding this bird food as well on top for a little mix up and change. At first my bird was unsure but that's how she treats anything new for a couple days. But now enjoys both seeds together which is good. Dr. Haveys has all the veggies and fruits and grains and seeds so it's important to make sure you have those foods if you switch to just Harrisons food. We as adults don't enjoy the same everyday why should we feed our pets like that. Try it !! it's cheaper and worth it.

I have been ordering this product for over 5 years- I need "super fine" Because I have a Bird with no beak. This product is at Least "coarse" all I want is a Replacement as the product is clearly packaged incorrectly. Thank you. Please contact Me for More information.

My tiny dove is a demanding brat and expects perfection from each batch. Bought this for her last year she loved eating it then i switched her to adult lifetime super fine and she noticed the 1 shade lighter and 1 millimeter larger pellet and went on a hunger strike. Thought it was a formula issues and just reordered this one but she again noticed the size difference. Harrisons give my tiny the justice she deserves!

My budgies or parakeets have been on this pellet for 6 months. They get this once a day along with veggie chops and seeds. Their feather and weight has improved

I've ordered this product many times but last time it came with much larger pellets than usual my budgies won't eat the larger pellets

My parrot loves this. Hes been on it since I got him off hand feed food. He loves it and he looks gorgeous. He had a fractured leg and he healed in less than a week. I highly think this food had a lot to play in his recovery time.

After getting our rescue budgies for free off of craigslist, my son, and I did a lot of research. We definitely wanted them to live a happy healthy life and be able to fly free (inside the house) and eat the best food. Needless to say most of the things you will find in the bird section at most chain pet stores are not suitable, however, this pellet food is great! We supplement with access to plenty of fresh greens and vegetables, an occasional boiled egg and extremely small amount of fruit and seeds. We transitioned them off of the seed diet to this and they love it..sometimes to change things up we will add a little warm water to it and chop up some fresh herbs to add and make a mash.

The best food for my parakeets easy for them to eat. I wish this kind came in a bigger option to purchase, I have to buy several 1lb bags to keep on hand.

my elderly gentleman cockatiel LOVES it! its expensive, yes. but hes worth it. i mean he realllly loves this food. sometimes ill catch him making pretty eyes at his food dish, which is always filled with harrisons.

This food is great quality and recommended by my vet. The super fine are little balls about the size of a pin head. I have a disabled bird and she has done very well on this food. I do wish it advertised a photo to scale of the size of food.

I am not sure. The quality seems fine, and I like how small the pellets are. I have smaller birds, and one cockatiel who is weird and refuses to eat larger pellets. However, it seems like only one or two of the birds are pecking at it. I mix it with Roudybush nibles. Not sure if I have to, but thought I might as well offer both in case one has something the other lacks.Still, if at least one of them will eat it it's a win. My birds are always really particular. I am hoping my sick budgie eats it, or more of it, as he's underweight and could use a boost of everything.

My parakeets didn't want these pellets at first, but putting a spoonful in the end area of their seed feeder finally paid off. They need pellets for good nutrition and once they tried them they started liking them.
