We bought this as a project for dad and son to do together. By step 4, three pieces have now broken despite extreme caution and it's going in the trash.

Please read these most recent reviews and believe them. This product is very low quality. Every piece I tried to connect ended up breaking. Nothing fit together or lined up. The instructions are extremely difficult to understand. Can tell whoever makes these never tried to assemble one themselves.

One of the side gear assemblies attaches to another via a thin strip of plywood. So not at all surprising that this strip broke during assembly. No extras, so there goes $50 into the garbage. My son has built a number of laser cut plywood models successfully but this one was terrible.

The pieces were really small and difficult to put enough pressure on to assemble the set. I got it for my husband and teen daughter to assemble, but the parts were so small and required so much pressure they both gave up, they probably both put in at least 7 hours separately and still could not assemble it. Cool idea but a waste of money!
