I got these to extend the cable for my surveillance cameras. The coupler does its job just fine. I only needed 2, but got 6 for a good price. I'd recommend it.

I used 3 pcs for 1Gb connection, one of them for 1 Gb PoE line between solid and stranded cable. Works great. Time will tell how long.

Tried to use these on POE cameras and they wouldn't pass POE. Also tried on a 1 gig connection and it too failed. These are not Cat5e, 6 or 7 couplers.
