This black shower base is a great upgrade for any bathroom. The 36” x 36” size fits perfectly in my space, and the center drain ensures water flows efficiently. The single threshold design makes it easy to step in and out, and I love how modern and sleek the black color looks. It's surprisingly durable toofeels solid underfoot without being heavy. The only downside is that it can show water spots a bit more than lighter-colored bases, but that's a small trade-off for the aesthetic. Overall, it’s a high-quality, stylish option for any shower project.

Instructions for this suggest laying this outside of installed tile. I emailed support to ask if this could be installed (and screwed) flush to wall studs with backer board and tiler overlap (as you traditionally would.) It has been over 5 business days without a response. Overall quality of the product seems good. Better than the shower pan that this will replace.
