This light bulb is good to light up dark areas in the home. I switched form a 1600 lumens bulb and this makes a huge difference

I love the higher lumen output of this bulb, but it won't fit all light fixtures as the bulb sits about 133 larger than a 100w equivalent bulb it was replacing.

Recently I inherited a floor lamp that has a sliding dimmer switch. I've been used to 3 setting type bulbs for regular table lamps, but never had a use for a bulb that not only gets very bright, but can be very, very dim. This one fits the bill perfectly. I think the electronics in this one are above average. The light doesn't get hot at all (a positive of LEDs), has a pleasing color temperature and gets as bright as I need for task lighting. Unlike some other dimmable bulbs I've had, it doesn't make any noise when turned to super-low settings. I've been using for several months with no issues. Recommended!

I didn't really know that the bulb size would be at least twice the size of a regular standard one but it still fit in the socket like a standard one with no problems. I didn't realize how much brighter this bulb was compared to the standard ones I'm used to. This one is super bright and I really needed it to be in my kitchen as my lights seem dim even with brand new ones. I'm definitely getting more of these no doubt!!

This bulb is really bright. One thing to be aware of is its size, it is much bigger than the "normal" bulb, and is specified in the description.

I needed to flood my attic storage space with light, in order to find and organize things. I needed a bulb with the brightness of the sun. This bulb does that. It is incredibly bright. It lights up my attic space perfectly. It is quite large, so if your putting it in a fixture, you'll need to confirm that it will fit. Mine is in an exposed socket, and size is not an issue. Though I may need to move the socket to a location less likely to get bumped. This bulb is the one you want for storage spaces like a garage, or attic.

Keep in mind that this is much larger than a standard lightbulb. About twice the size, though the screw-in plug is normal and fits a standard socket. The light is very bright. So this is perfect for places like a garage or store room, but maybe not in your living room.
