The lid doesn't seem crystal , but who cares, just glass maybe. It's very serviceable for what it's intended for . And georgous. One of the prettiest ones out there.

So pretty, read review that said dome was very thin, but the one I received is not. A deal at this price, especially as cloche can be used elsewhere when not needed as cake cover!

I bought new 6" cake pans and needed a smaller (and higher) cake saver. This one is perfect. I didn't have the dome lid on for this pic because I had just frosted the cake. So far I've use it for smaller cakes and cookies. It's was a great price and does a great job keeping everything fresh!

This is a pretty little cake stand. It is all glass and easily broken as my husband found out. I did re-order after he knocked it over and broke it because I wanted a stand that held a smaller cake and treats for the counter.

Beautiful cake plate/pastry display and the perfect size! It is not as big as a regular cake plate, but holds pastries and small cakes perfectly. It is really a lovely piece!

It's difficult finding a better quality cake stand suitable for smaller cakes or baked goods. I learned this the hard way after purchasing a similar cake stand from another supplier. The lid didn't fit properly and the base was crooked. This cake stand has no imperfections, the lid sits well, and the delicate etching gives it a more appealing presentation.

I ordered this hoping it would work for a 6 inch cake. I only used 2 layers and iced the sides conservatively. The dome fit very carefully with icing touching slightly on one side (see picture). A 5 inch cake would provide more clearance. It's beautiful! If you're looking for a stand for mini cakes, this one is great!

This came in a pretty box with insert (totally giftable, if that's your intent). Luckily for me, it's for me (lol!). Love the size; it's perfect for what I need. Arrived securely packaged, protected intact. Overall, a beautiful vintage piece.

It's so pretty and delicate. If you're looking to put sweets in there, it's small so make sure you read the dimensions. I used it to put my Himalayan rock salt and grater in and it looks so classy on the counter.
