I know the intended use is for test tubes, but I use it to organize and display my fountain pens. It is great for that. Only 2 pens have a diameter too large to fit in the rack.

I got this to use for holding test tubes for my aquarium API tests. It works great. There are no instructions but basically, you just slide the racks into the little stands. The backside of the shelves have 2 little clear dots to stop from sliding too far. Once I got the first one on (the bottom rack), the others were easy. I did put a drop of cooking oil on the stand where you slide it on, as they wanted to hang up. And one I had to slide back and forth a few times until it would slide on easily. You just have to remember to put the side without the clear dots (stoopers?) in first. It's not real sturdy, but plenty enough for holding test tubes. Well worth the $6.49 I paid. It is larger than I need, but it will make the process so much easier. I guess if you wanted it a little more sturdy you could put a drop of glue on the stands. But not necessary at all. They hold well, even when carrying empty. I wouldn't carry it full of test tubes.

It's easy to put together and can hold 50 tubes of beads. By taking out the top layer, even short tubes of beads can be displayed easily.

First, let me give you some quick instructions as to how to assemble this because there aren't any. Basically each rack slides in. Just be sure to place the one with the small holes at the bottom. It may take a little tap but once they're in, they're not going anywhere.With that said, this is perfect to store all of my ink sample vials. They're no longer in a bunch of zipper bags lol. You can't beat the price either. If you have ink vials all over the place, definitely get yourself one (or more) of these.

This test tube rack was a bit fiddly to assemble -- some of the pieces stuck, which gave me a bit of anxiety as I tried to balance enough force to shove them in place against potentially snapping the pieces. It all eventually came together. I didn't even have to pull out the rubber mallet, though it would have saved me a little pain.My sample ink vials fit beautifully and the whole thing feels tight and secure.

These are the perfect size for fountain pen ink vials. My collection of ink samples just kept growing and growing, and zip-loc bags were not the answer. A friend recommended I pick up a couple of these to stand the vials up proper, and be able to label their tops for easy spotting in a drawer; the best recommendation ever!These take a couple of minutes to put together as you slide the 3 shelves into the 2 end caps. There are notches to stop the shelves as you insert them so they do not go too far and all line up. Made of clear, cheap plastic, these shelves do the job perfectly.

3.6/5 Stars. One of the shelves that make up the rack arrived with a pretty large crack along the edge. Installing it was a little scary, but once installed, the crack doesn't seem to be hindering the integrity of the rack (for now, at least.. haha) and I'm only using it to house my ink samples, so it should be fine.
