Mission: GiveNKind’s mission is to put usable goods into the hands of local nonprofits to benefit our communities and our environment. Over 5 billion pounds of returned goods from online retailers ends up in our landfills each year. This is just a small fraction of the usable goods that are sent to landfills each year because of the economic cost in terms of time and effort of repurposing usable goods. GiveNKind is a logistics broker of usable goods. We source goods from businesses, fulfillment centers, and distributors, as well as individual donors, and make those goods available at no cost to 501(c)3 nonprofits local to the donation. Nonprofits receive items that support their operations and programming which in turn frees up resources to put back into services that benefit our communities. Donors receive a tax receipt and the knowledge that their goods live another life in the hands of those in need. Diverting usable goods from landfills reduces the environmental impact on all of us.
