So many recipes call for increments of 1 tablespoon so I keep a plastic container in the fridge with several sticks already sliced and ready.....2 pats for each tablespoon needed - soooo easy. I also fry eggs and other things in butter and a 1/2 tablespoon is perfect for that. I don't have to stop and measure or cut with these already in the fridge at the ready. So happy when I realized it made the perfect cut for my use!
