Kinda a pain to put together but it's a good cage. just a warning the bars are kinda far apart so if u have baby rats I suggest using some mesh or something to close up the space. The bin I have in there is just a large concrete bin does not come with cage.

it's a very sturdy in large cage, and very comfortable for my pets. I enjoyed putting it together very much. It was very simple and easy, the only complaint that I had was that one of the doors was a little wonky, but not a major concern.

I think either deeper trays or maybe a plastic border that goes a quarter of the way up each level to keep poop in the cage would make for a five star item. Our ferrets love it though. Lots of room to play.

Many of the parts that arrived had to be bent into place with a hammer so that they would fit. Overall good cage for the price.

This is a great quality cage, it was a little challenging to set up, but nothing worse than IKEA furniture. It's very sturdy, and the functionality of it is good, but please make sure the space between the bars is the right size for your pet(s). I have a few rats and knew this was a quality brand, but the product image for the ferret cage and small animal cage look really similar and I purchased the wrong one by accident. Didn't realize my mistake until I realized my girls could get in and out easily.

Our 2 Chins had called the Prevue Pet 485 Feisty Ferret home for several years. I felt it was time they needed more space and this was the perfect upgrade. It is 25 larger overall dimensions and cleaning is much easier since both doors open. Cage was surprisingly sturdy given the no screw assembly design. My unit just had 1 panel rattle at a corner when the Chins run on their wheel. That's was easily fixed with a small wood shim. I replaced the plastic shelving with pine boards since Plastics are no no for Chinchillas. Initial impressions are positive. Will update if any issue arise.
