The bottom pan doesn't have a gasket. You have to use permatex as a gasket.

Had these tires prior for 4 years just ordered a new set.

I made the mistake of thinking this was for the lower pan. (What holds the oil) this is the upper gasket. I changed this one out and had to use gasket maker for the lower pan.

Needed a replacement oil pan gasket for my 08 Jeep JK. This was a perfect solution. Plastic pins were essential to hold the gasket in place while lifting the oil pan back up. Also make sure to add some RTV according to your tech service manual... probably in the corners. Great quality from fel-pro, as expected.

You can go wrong with Felpro gaskets. This was exact fit and easy to install.
