The counter sink works great. you need to be precise when you set it up. and you need to drive screws square when installing them. I had a little problem with using them on cheep particle board shelving. the screw would over drive and the caps would not sit perfectly. Have only an occasional issue with industrial or cabinet grade material.

When you want to hide your screws this is the best possible way to do it maybe a little costly but excellent results will recommend to other people

I used this tool to remove a plastic layer over metal to install Plusnuts. Depth of cut was critical since I did not want to remove any of the rust resistant coating on the metal. I was astonished how easy it was to accurately set the depth of cut and have it stay accurate over many cuts

Wasn't sure that this was worth the price, but once I used it I was convinced. Well designed, well engineered. Allows adjustments for different screw length and desired counter sink depth. There's also a threaded collar to fine tune the counter sink with thumb screw to lock it in. Depth collar is independent from spinning parts so it does not mar work piece. Kit includes two hex keys for the two set screws that control drilling depth and counter sink, two spare drill bits, as well as spare set screws and thumb screw in a square plastic storage tube. Yeah, you get few sample screws, too.Do you need this to install Fastcap screws? Nope. If you want consistent, professional results then you should consider it.

The Flashpoint drill bit is perfect for cabinet makers. It's one of those tools that should be in every cabinet makers tool box. It's inexpensive high quality and very easy to set and use.I wouldn't be without it.

If you're using FastCap Power Head Screws to hang cabinets, this is a must. You can really dial in how far you want to sink the head, and so easily.Don't be that guy who uses great hardware but doesn't properly prep it.I will buy more of these without a second thought.
