It is much sturdier and replaced a cheap plastic strainer we’d used for years that couldn’t be reglued anymore.

This lays easily over every size mug I own, and filters the big grounds out of my french press coffee as I pour it, which is exactly what I wanted it for. Mesh is sturdy, the item is good quality, and seems like it will last a long time.

Nice strainer for the price, not available locally in that particular size, and it fits perfectly for what I needed.My only complaint would be in the packaging. The strainer was loose in a box that was about 10 times too big for it, had a few plastic pillows that didn't offer much support, and the strainer arrived with the basket part folded and mashed. Not that big of a deal, it straightened out fairly well, but I would have preferred it arrived in better shape and more carefully packaged.

I use this strainer to get the plant debris out of our pool skimmer basket. It can be used outside all year round without rusting. Like I said it works great.

It’s great I’m just dumb and didn’t pay attention to measurements and it was way too small for what I needed but I kept it anyways might come in handy in the future great quality good price
