A excellent ice-maker! My first unit finally died after 11 years of daily use, amp; I was glad to see that they are still available. It requires a dedicated water line, amp; there's no fooling with trays - just one big container to catch the ice. Highly recommended.

I bought this when my old unit failed. It arrived on time and packaged securely. It was easy to get out of the box and set up. The water line just needed to be pressed into the connector. Was making is immediately.

I needed another ice machine and the first worked great so I bought it again... it arrived fast and was easy to connect with an in-line water filter and works great

Unit was great while it lasted for two years. It failed. Warranty purchased stated we had to have the original packaging to send it back, but we were able to make do with our own packaging. They sent a different unit after a month that was clearly reconditioned. It functioned at about 50 capacity of the original one. We would frequently have to defrost the unit and now the unit just won't produce ice. Compressor still works, and you can store popsicles in it, but it won't make ice.

We bought the ice maker and our first one unfortunately broke after having it just a short time but the seller sent a new one and completely took the worry out of purchasing the item that broke so soon the first time. They were very kind and would highly recommend anything from this seller! ANGEL with Whynter WAS AMAZING! her customer service was warm, kind and understanding. That help is hard to find these days.

Had the product installed for a few weeks. So far has worked perfect for our needs and as advertised. As a caution make sure door is securely closed as it will ice over as seen in picture. Runs quietly. A water line is provided but you will need to buy the plumbing adapter to water source

After receiving our first ice maker and had a leak inside the unit. I emailed customer support and had a quick reply. Mariella at Whynter worked hard to resole the issue. I now have a great ice maker, thank you for great customer service

This brand of ice maker was in my house when I bought it and has been replaced 3 times since 2017. It works great for about 2 years , then quits working. This time I had an appliance repair company look at it along with some other appliances in my house. I was told there's better options for an ice maker but with these units, it's cheaper to replace than to fix. I'll be doing something different this time
