Causes: Education, Environment, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: EAL creates scholarships and educational opportunities for students with financial need at postsecondary institutions through placement of donated inventory and other resources. Twenty states and Washington D. C. currently comprise EALgreen's impact area of member colleges and universities. Donations can originate from any location, but major donors to-date are based in the Midwest. The success of the business model also underwrites the generation of additional dollars that are awarded as financial contributions to member institutions. Both the sale of tangible goods and the direct receipt of financial awards provide scholarship assistance to students with financial need to pursue baccalaureate degrees.
