Not quite enough compression for protection. Tape works better for protecting joints while blocking volleyballs

Bought these for my arthritic thumbs. They are great although I don't really use them anymore. There really was only the 2 that fit my thumb and you have to take them off when around water. If you just wear them they do help. But the taking off and on then the threads start to unravel. Its a good product just not for what I needed.

Update: I had a shipping issue only and the vendor contacted me and offered to refund the s&h. I was very pleased w/ their quick response. The product is exactly as expected and works for what I needed them for.

It's a good idea. However, you may have to wear inside out because the seam is bulky and uncomfortable, especially if you have sensitive skin. If you have thick fingers, it may be too tight.

These are not tight enough to provide sufficient support for the average person unless you wear it on your thumb.I would have preferred a water-proof material as well and it took about five weeks to arrive. They are relatively comfortable though and the price is reasonable.

Got for my 11 year old son after he jammed his finger during a youth basketball game. Stabilized the sore finger and allowed him to play with confidence.

As the picture with the product shows - these sleeves ight be good for volleyball. I got them to help with finger strain with certain lifting exercises...and they're not much for that. They provide a minimum of support, and they tear up easily. I'm sure there are activities that the product is good for...just none that I need it for.

I have a trigger finger and thought it might help to wear one of these to support it and prevent the "popping". Unfortunately, this did not provide enough support to be of much benefit.

I did not even know these finger inserts existed. I have had a severe callous on my finger for years and this was the perfect remedy for my use during bowling.

I actually bought these, not for basketball or volleyball, but because I have a tattoo on the inside of my index finger & even though it is not "visible" it needs to be covered for work. This gives me an option, instead of a band-aid to wear, that is washable. My hands are in & out of water all day as well, so band-aids do not stay on & are not sanitary when not used for injuries. If I lose one of these, well, it comes in a 10 pack, I have many more to go. The only thing I did not like is that I was not able to choose the color. I was hoping that black would come in the mail, but alas, bright cobalt blue was sent instead. Would have given 5 stars, if I had been able to choose the color. You get what they send you, & will not find out until you open the package, surprise!!! Makes it much more noticeable, but it still does what I need it to do, covers a finger tattoo.

I bought these to use as added support for my fingers during arthritic flares. Not all of the supports are right for my finger sizes, but they work better than nothing to provide some support. i only use one or two at a time, so I can pick and choose the right size combo. If I was wanting to use these on all 10 fingers/thumbs at one time to play sports, the fit may not be adequate enough to provide benefit.

These sleeves often work wonders to relieve finger joint pain and swelling. The sleeves allow treatment of individual finger problems often seen in arthritis. They provide warmth and support without the use of medications. They are easily applied and removed by the patient as needed. They are washable and priced at a level that most can afford. Excellent product!

I got these to treat a severe finger sprain on 3 fingers of my predominant hand. They fit nicely, and were very effective in keeping swelling down. They are like a mini-ace bandage, with have a thin-enough profile to be worn under work gloves, yet they offer firm support to keep me working all day.

Who would of thought you'd need these for bowling and/or other sports. I was surprised at the relief they afforded my bowling hand fingers, which got achy/sore with bowling. They really do help/work!
