The drill works great overall. Only complaint are the torque settings in that, the settings are pretty soft (it releases with the click click click easily, even when near max). The impact driver is a bit of a joke. It's very weak. Don't expect to do any real automotive stuff with it. It must be intended for small, around the house jobs.

Figured I would finally get a decent name brand drill combo set so I seen a deal on these and decided to order. These things have no power what so ever and are pretty awful to work with. Batteries last no time and you need several to complete even the smallest jobs. My Porter Cable way outperform these and they are over 10 years old, and I eventually went back to them to finish my last job after the frustration of the DeWalt. Never again. Do not buy!

I resolved the problem on my own. Went to install battery on the impact driver and it would not go on all the way. It turns out one of the terminals was slightly bent. Used my needle nose to straighten. I have had 2 Dewalt 20v drills for about a decade now and love them. Hopefully it was just a fluke that it was bent.
