As the family tries to provide for their Deaf little girl, they are urged to talk to her and treat her like a normal" child. This is the book that made all the difference for our family thirty-six years ago. Highly recommended. Am glad to see it's still available. Bought another copy just days ago to show to the students in the sign language class I am teaching.
