This state-of-the-art exciter exceeds the limitations of its counterparts, while preserving the high-frequency reproduction that defines exciter-based systems. With its simple 4 Ohm load and an impressive power rating of 40 Watts, the EX32VBDS-4 effortlessly integrates into an array of audio projects, setting a new standard for exciter-based sound systems.
1/3rd octave smoothing - measurement taken with transducer adhered off-center on a 12" x 12" x ½" foam core board in an infinite baffle setup.

A neodymium magnet is employed to create maximum magnetic flux around the proprietary voice coil for increased sensitivity when compared to similar-sized exciters, however, the EX32VBDS is optimized to reproduce the low-frequencies often missing in exciter-based systems for extended output when compared to other exciters.
Exclusive IMS™ Interchangeable Mounting System
With Dayton Audio's exclusive IMS™ interchangeable mounting system, you can try out many different configurations, placements, and exciters to find the best combination for your project. Each exciter comes with a threaded mounting pad that can be permanently installed anywhere. Installation is easy, simply remove the pad from the exciter assembly, mount the pad to your project with 2 screws or with the 3M Adhesive, and screw the exciter assembly back onto the pad! The non-destructive nature of the interchangeable mount allows you to A/B different exciters or swap non-functional units out in the field without risking damage to your project or exciters.
