Left it in my car as I have plenty of other hats (ceramic tint on all windows) and found it like this. Nothing spilled on it and it doesn't come off. Conclusion is it's sun bleached. Not even 3 months old. It spent maybe a week in my car. Way too expensive to be this delicate to sun. That's literally what it's for.

The extra large size was perfect for my husband. Regular hats make him look like he's wearing a youth hat but the XL was a great fit. I'm tempted to buy an extra.
