It may sound silly, but this is a beautiful piece of hardware and perfect replacement part. I'll be looking at Crown Automotive for replacement parts first in the future.

This is good. Appears to be thick and HD. Like something you'd expect to see on an OEM car or truck. Happy to have this on my HD work truck. In the event I lose my main brakes, I know I can count on this hooked up to my trucks emergency brake to stop me, without fear that it will ever snap. It's good! I fully trust it.

Bought to replace the old adjuster on my 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Worked perfectly and tightens way better than the old rusted one.

Installed very easily. I cut my old rusted one off with bolt cutters to save time. Bolt is a little shorter than the stock one but I had plenty of adjustment. I decided to replace it when I replace my rear drum breaks.

I've purchased a few different Crown parts for my 1998 Jeep Cherokee and they've all been good quality at a fair price.However for this part the equalizer bracket that the rear brake lines connect to is a little too large to fit in the tunnel (for lack of a better term) the parking break adjuster sits in.I ended up reusing the original one and that worked just fine.If you don't have the original equalizer I would recommend grinding the new one down so it will fit.

Replacing on YJ with all new doorman cables. The new cables are a little shorter than OEM so needed new bracket bc the old one was too rusty for adjustment. This bracket is very nice except- it's also shorter than oem. Bottom line is I don't know if it will have the range needed to work. The shorter cables and shorter bracket may not be compatible, despite all being doorman YJ products. Prob cut adj bolt off old bracket and weld threaded rod on for longer range.
