Not a professional's wrench, also not your grandfather's Crescent - but I love that it's lightweight and it's great for 90 of DIY jobs around the house that need more oompf than you get from a pair of slip joints.

I recently picked up this Crescent 10" aluminum pipe wrench for a project, and I've been really happy with it. The first thing I noticed was how light it is compared to my old cast iron wrench. This should make a big difference working in tight spaces and overhead. The slim jaws would also be a huge help in those cramped spots, like behind the sink. I was able to get a good grip on the pipes. The wrench felt solid and well-made, and it definitely got the job done. If you're looking for a lightweight and effective pipe wrench, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

I've been using the Crescent 10" Aluminum Pipe Wrench for a few months now, and it's REALLY NICE. The lightweight aluminum body makes it super easy to handle and transport. Despite its light weight, this wrench doesn't seem to compromise on strength or durability. The jaws, while thinner than normal provide an excellent grip, ensuring that pipes and fittings are held securely without slipping. The thinner jaws also provide better access in tight spots. The overall design is really well-balanced. I'm just a DIYer, working on replacing ALL the plumbing in my house built in the 1850s. I highly recommend it. The ONLY complaint I have is the packaging. you really need a razor blade, or razer knife to open it.

10 in slim jaw, aluminum pipe wrench that is well made and easy to use. The serrated Jaws are great and so is the handle, which is comfortable to use long-term. Product recommended.

I have yet to find a tool that Crescent makes that I didn't like. I really enjoy the quality that they put out. This aluminum pipe wrench is no exception. Feels great in the hand and I'm confident it will hold up. I've replaced almost all my pipe wrenches with various brands of aluminum variations and I am so glad I did just about every time I grab one. They are so light it's hard to believe just how strong they are. This little 10" is one of my last to replace, I didn't mind the steel wrench in that size since it was so small. But even with that, I still can't get over how lightweight and high quality this tool is.
