Do not purchase! Washed and dried and the comforter burnt in the dryer. Not comfortable to sit on either if wearing shorts. The stitching used to hold the black tassels is rough on skin.

Overall I was very happy with this purchase. This was basically exactly the color and type of Duvet and pillow set I was looking for. It's plush and lightweight while still being warm and cozy. Its main ivory color also offers me the option to use any colored bed sheet I'd want. I also like the textured aspects of the duvet. I didn't want a printed duvet cover but something I could run my hands through. It's tactile textures are well-sewn and haven't snagged in the wash. The only problem I face is that the cover and the duvet are sewn together. Although at first, I thought this would be perfect because then I don't have to worry about zippers breaking or it getting misshaped; it actually has been a struggle to wash. First, it's the king-size version so it has to be washed separately because it cramps into the laundry machine with little wiggle room. Not only that putting it into the drier is where it really gets difficult. I found I have had to dry it, take it out to turn it, dry it again, and sometimes take it out once more and dry it again... I might just try allowing it to hang dry next time because of how much electricity it took to dry. Other than the drying issue, I do like the duvet and it looks great in my bedroom.
