My husband assembled it with ease but he added extras for a sturdier feel - this is just him. The first time I sat in it with my granddaughter it made a loud popping sound which scared me. He assured me it's just the swing settling in, but I haven't been back out there yet. I have a heavier log swing at my cabin and I'm in it all of the time so it's a difference of the thicker, sturdier beams.

I not happy with the stain color . I choose the cedar color. It looks orange. It doesn't go with the surrounding color skeems at all. As for the sturdiness, it's plenty heavy duty. I guess I should have chosen unfinished and stained it my self.

Heavy duty, no issues at all, all parts were there in the package, and only thing we bought just because, was two extra springs to put at the top for a little bit give on the chains. No need to do that, but we found it better when we went to sit downWe got the unfinished one and painted it white and we painted the gold chain white as well. Extremely comfortable, Heavy duty Not cheaply made We just love it!

Looks great and holds well! All of the warning from carpenters about how these type of products might not withstand can go out of the window. 1.5 years in and not a sign that something will happen
