Finally got one that worked. The WiFi was a challenge and the first one wouldn't connect after talking to customer service they sent me a replacement and I got a connection. The assembly was pretty simple and it seems to work as expected. But the WiFi wasn't simple at all.

Works great. I had a station from a different company. it was a crap shoot if I could get it to work for a few weeks at a time. This one has been installed for just about 2 months now. Stupid crazy how easy it was to get setup. I have the device at the back fence. the console is off a front room, been solid connection the whole time. I just threw some alkaline batteries in, figure when they go bad I'll use the lithium batteries they suggest.

This was a gift to someone who likes to keep an eye on the weather. It was easy to set up and the gift recipient loves it. We also learned that we can access weather data posted by others who own these weather stations, which is helpful for monitoring the weather in a couple of other locations.

I never had any issues with the previous unit from Ambient Weather but the unit just one day was dead after three years of faithful operations. I really liked the unit so replacing it was an easy decision...

I like the system over all. I'm not able to post in the social settings but it is more accurate than my old system and I like being able to view others systems.

Easy to set up. Internet enabling is not and is still not working. The screen is horrible. You practically have to pick it up and place it afoot from your face to read it. Color display is the culprit. A sorry buy

Right after owning for a year, the rain gauge quit working on it. The rain gauge was never accurate though, it was always half of my traditional cylinder gauge. All other features still work as they did when new. I don't think the wind gauge is 100 accurate though.

Humidity sensor went out in 30 degree temperature drop to 10F. The console stop connecting to Internet sites despite repeated use of keys.

Haven't had any issues this point. Assembly and set up were straight forward, easy to read and understand manuals. I have ot set up and ready to rock.

8.5 inches isn't a very large display. My husband bought this for me for christmas and since we are older, the display is difficult to read at 6 feet. Think that you should make it larger.

Finally, a product with a user manual, with normal sized print!! Did have to read the instructions on some things a couple of times; but the manual has lots of photo's. Had product installed and operating within an hours.

Very nice unit, and web interface is very good. Only downside I can see so far is that the batteries on the unit itself need to be replaced periodically so when mounting keep that in mind. A small solar panel and this would get 5 stars.

I've had this in place now for almost 4 years. Works great, clear and timely information. Hassle-free. I just cleaned out the rain gauge for the first time (it wasn't registering in the last rain storm) and it needed it and now it works just fine again. Replaced the batteries for the first time as well. Weather station is excellent and extremely helpful for the farm planning/management.

The good: Easy setup, good wireless communication between sensors and display station, all hardware for pole mounting with tools, calibration available, display features, acceptable accuracy, instruction manual very detailed, well organized display The not so good: Sensor suite battery compartment could be better, no bird spike accessory available, (made my own, birds like to build nest in rain collector), no wifi app to access data without internet, no solar charging of batteries. Hope this system will last a few years like my previous Davis weather station.

The outside device was moderate difficulty to set up. The one star comes with the internet set up. You have to purchase a router in addition to this. Following the instructions , the screen will not get to the set up page as described in directions or support pages. I feel like i need a computer science degree to set up. Not for someone who has to rely on hotspot for internet (no other service in area) and just for something fun for kids to learn about weather.

I got this five years ago for Christmas and it's been in the Florida weather since then. Not the easiest display to work with and connecting to the home Wi-Fi is tricky if the display loses power. I do like being anywhere on the planet and checking on the weather at home on my phone. The only thing after five years is the wind speed thing has seized up. I never really trusted it's accuracy and after five years in the Florida sun and hurricanes I'm not surprised. The thermometer, rain gauge and pressure match other stations close by. So, for the money it's a decent station.
