The build quality is exceptional, looks to be made from 16ga/18ga steel laser cut/formed and power coated black. The build quality is stunning! That being said I bought this as a solar deck post light with the goal that is tosses some useable light. Welp the fact is you can hardly see the light is even on at 10FT away in complete darkness. I am no expert on lumens and such, but my goodness is it bad. Like why do we even have lights in this? They're pointless, my standard deck post solar light from Home Depot for $8.99 tosses out 10x the amount of light. Overall 1 out 5 do not buy this if you want to have any sort of useable light at all, it's sad they're selling this at the price point they are. The amount of light gets 10x worse if you use RGB mode as well just awful add more lights to make it worth the $40.00

We were looking for a solar light that you can turn on and off. This was the only product on the Market I could find. Was nervous because of mixed reviews, but they are absolutely awesome. Yes, like most solar lights they are not as bright as a 120v light, but i put them on my deck posts and they provide amazing ambient lighting. Would recommend!

This is a pretty cool post cap. Pick a color, ANY color! It makes them all. The aluminum case is very good quality, and it has a good finish. Highly recommend. What I'd like to see in future revisions? 1) Recess the power switch or provide standoff tabs, I can see the switch being broken by someone not noticing it holds one side of the cap higher on a flat cut post top. 2) Lumens balance the colors. Blue is very under driven, making it and purple difficult to see. 3) Need more time options. Ex, purple and orange are great for Halloween, but just having them fade back and forth at the same interval is dull. 4) Moar powah! Seriously, not a ton, just a 20-30 output would make a huge difference in the light not disappearing with street lighting. Even without street lighting, you can't see it when driving (mounted on my mailbox post), only when walking.

Great lights, with an app you download that is easy to use and multi-functional. You can set up the lights in groups, use colors, or soft or cool white, even dimming! If not set to 100 intensity, light will stay on 8-10 hours every night. Five stars.
