Mission: Our mission is to help empower women to find joy through the Bible. Chara (pronounced khar-ah) is the Greek word for JOY. We are a community for ALL women to pursue joy in the Bible, no matter their faith background, as they explore and understand the Bible more clearly through Biblically-based resources and teaching.

Results: In its first year, The Chara Project reached more than 54,000 people around the world through its website, and engaged more than 2,800 people through online and live teaching. Additionally they have personally given away more than 330 Study Bibles to people that had never owned one before.
