This has been a good product so far. My son is moving from high school to college to throw and needed to having the college weight disc to work with for the summer. I didn't want to spend $300 dollars yet for a competition discus and this disc has been great to allow him to adjust to the new weight before deciding which spin rate he will need in a new disc for college (that they will provide).

This is a practice discus. Neither the weight distribution nor the feel of the discus are up to competition levels. On the other hand you can save a lot of wear and tear on your competition discs by practicing with a wooden one like this. Big money saver for getting in reps in practice.
