My 30-year-old boiler fill valve crusted up and would no longer fill the boiler. And instead of paying a lot of money for a plumber and his mark-up, I decided to do it myself. This valve fit perfectly into my application, and had the right size to replace the old one directly. It was simple to set the pressure and the additional gauge helps to make sure it's set correctly.

This unit worked well, I wanted the gauge to see how much pressure was going in and out. The main issue I had was the pressure release was pop off. The old once was over 20 years old, however, mine issue was also the pressure tank was bad not adjusting the pressure pro actively. So, I had replaced, that and the air scoop and this part.
