Though this product may cover a 2 x 2 hole in a square tube, it will not fit into a 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 hole without modification to either the tube or the plug.....

I ordered 1" size, and these are 0.75" maybe. Yet they're labeled 1". Not sure if I'll order again or find the right size from a more reliable source. But these are definitely going back.

I needed these square hole fillers. They were good quality. I took a small rubber mallet to set them in cross bars for a mailbox post. Definitely would recommend them for one inch square hole fillers.
