CRL Gunther Ultra/Bond® and Extra/Build® Mirror Mastics are high quality adhesives formulated to provide a strong, permanent bond between electro-copper-plated glass mirror and various substrates. Both have been field tested for compatibility with silver, copper, and mirror backing. Both have an easy working consistency year round, and will adhere to a wide variety of substrates including Drywall, Wood, Metal, Glass, Marble, and Tile but should be tested for Bleeding.

NOTE: Not for use on acrylic mirror. Use Cat. No. GN8 Gunther Prime-N-Seal Primer on all porous substrates. Application guidelines are available online for all Gunther products. Mechanical support systems are recommended for all mirror applications.

Gunther Ultra/Bond® viscosity provides for a build out of 3/4" (19 mm), and can be compressed to 1/32" (.8 mm) for mirror installations requiring close tolerances, such as overlays, mirrored furniture, and medicine cabinets.

Ultra/Bond® is applied to clean, dry, dust-and grease-free surfaces with vertical bead reinforced to the full length of the mirror, 5"-6" (130-155 mm) spacing between each other and at 3" (75 mm) from the edge of the mirror. Gunther Prime and Seal provides a solid basis for better adhesion and protects against etching on the back of the mirror.

Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Vapors may ignite explosively. No smoking. Delete all flames, burners or ovens. Turn off heating and lights are off, and disconnect all electrical motors and appliances before use disappeared until all vapors. Prevent formation of vapor present in the open all the windows and doors. The central nervous system may be affected, as the fumes can cause dizziness, headaches and nausea. Direct contact of the skin, eyes or clothing should be avoided. Avoid breathing vapors. Repeated or prolonged inhalation can cause brain damage, nervous system, liver or the kidneys can be attacked, as it can lead to heart rhythm disturbances. INTENTIONALLY ABUSE AND INHALATION CONSCIOUS OF THE INGREDIENTS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
