Great product. This is what you need to put the plastic weather barrier back on the door. Scrap the old stuff off and apply a healthy bead of this. Will definitely be using on future projects.

The rubber sealant worked perfectly for sealing the frame of the window to the body of my truck. I did have to go back and fill in some places, not the fault of the sealant, just dips in the window channel. Sealed out the water and wind noise

Applied easily. Gooey as you would expect. Don't get it on anything you don't want it on- but if you want it there, it will stay. Spiderwebs are normal, be careful.

I really Iike the black butyl color. Almost everything blends well with color black on surfaces. Not as messy as other caulks, adheres well on surfaces, and worth the money spent on them.

This stuff is Goooey!! This is not your ordinary "caulk", it's liquid rubber... i mean this stuff is sticky, stringy... gooey, and springy. YOU MUST use Painters tape to keep this stuff in line. Wear disposable gloves, I used this stuff to seal up my camper cracks. Jury is still out... but so far, it appears to be the hot ticket. If it stays pliable for a few years and holds the seal... that will impress me. This is my first time using the sealant. I did clean and prep the surface using Mineral spirits so I SHOULD be good to go. Time will tell. :) OH BE SURE TO CUT THE TIP AS SMALL AS POSSIBLE... this stuff is super stringy... so a small amount goes a long way. I would recommend using the small tip so you DON'T have to try to form the bead... once this stuff is out of the tube... it does not like to be touched when "wet". Definitely wait the TWO hours for it to "skin" up before touching it or you will have black spiderweb everywhere. This is a set and forget type of product. :)

Despite cutting a very large opening. It just explored in the gun. Must be very, very old.
