Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services

Mission: Burma Humanitarian Mission supports community-based healthcare and education projects that improve the lives of the children of Burma and their communities. We empower people around the world to exercise their health to advocate for a healthy and vibrant Burma where the human rights of all people are honored.

Results: BHM will provide over one million doses of medicine in 2012.We estimate that with every two dollars spent on our medical programs one life is saved.

Target demographics: Villagers in eastern Burma, particularly children under 17

Direct beneficiaries per year: 50,000+ people for medical programs, 500,000+ for education programs

Geographic areas served: eastern Burma, western Thailand
